SURVIVING JEFFREY EPSTEIN 8 p.m. on Lifetime. This two-episode special will look into the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier and sex offender who died in federal custody last year. For years Epstein had been accused of sexually abusing underage girls, but had avoided federal charges until he was arrested in 2019 for sex trafficking. Epstein’s death, which was ruled a suicide, left many of his accusers angry that he would never stand trial. This documentary focuses on eight of the accusers, who shed light on Epstein and his inner circle.
ENDEAVOUR 9 p.m. on PBS. After spending much of Season 6 dispersed, the detectives at the center of this series are back together, investigating new missing persons and murder cases. Season 7 opens with a young Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) celebrating the dawn of a new decade at an opera in Venice in 1969, while Morse’s colleague, Fred Thursday, tries to track down a killer back in Oxford. When Morse returns home, old friendships begin to show signs of strain.
WE HUNT TOGETHER 10 p.m. on Showtime. This British detective noir follows four dysfunctional Londoners who find themselves paired off on opposite sides of a murder investigation. When Baba (Dipo Ola), a bathroom attendant, rescues a mysterious woman, Freddy (Hermione Corfield), from an assault at a nightclub, they become deeply linked and embark on a murderous spree. But soon the detective Lola Franks (Eve Myles) and her new, cheery partner, Jackson Mendy (Babou Ceesay), work to uncover the complex motives and morals behind the killings.
SHARK WEEK 8 p.m. on Discovery Channel. For many, summer may look very different this year, with the coronavirus pandemic changing the way people travel, gather and work. But at least one summer mainstay will go on as it has since 1988: Discovery’s educational (and sometimes gory) shark-themed programming. The week kicks off with three shows, starting with the 20th anniversary episode of “AIR JAWS,” where researchers collect data on shark breaching techniques. At 9 p.m. Mike Tyson faces his fear of sharks on “TYSON VS. JAWS,” and at 10 p.m., scientists study female sharks near New Zealand that are so large they’re often called “the 747s” on “SHARK LOCKDOWN.”

YOU NEVER HAD IT — AN EVENING WITH CHARLES BUKOWSKI Watch through Kino Marquee. It may not be a great time to get together with friends for a dinner party, but Charles Bukowski fans can safely experience what one at his home was like, thanks to the unearthed footage at the center of this documentary. In 1981, the journalist Silvia Bizio spent a boozy evening at Bukowski’s home in San Pedro, Calif., where they discussed his writing, as well as ideas about sex, love and humanity (you know, normal dinner party conversation). Bizio thought the tapes were lost until she discovered them in her garage 20 years after Bukowski’s death.
